RMS Arabic was laid down in Harland and Woolf's Belfast yard as Atlantic Transport Line's Minnewaska. When the firm was taken over, the emerging craft was renamed. She was launched at the Arabic in December 1902. The ship was torpedoed by U-24 off the Old Head of Kinsale on August 19, 1915. She sank in 15 minutes.
